Descanso was designed to be the perfect pullover for lounging around the house. The fit is easy and slouchy, with a hint of waist shaping. The deep slip stitch ribbing at the hems and the stockinette body highlight the beauty of hand-dyed yarns. The neckline features a deep v and cable.
The sweater is constructed from the bottom up, in the round to the underarms and then back-and-forth in rows. The sleeves are worked separately and then joined at the yoke. Finishing is kept to a minimum—just weaving underarm stitches and working a simple rolled edge around the neck opening.
