Give ‘Em the Slip is a hat and fingerless mitt set, suitable for Malabrigo Merino or your favorite worsted weight yarn. The pattern uses an easy slip-stitch pattern to create faux cables. No cable needle required!

SIZES: Hat: Small (Medium, Large); Mitts: Medium (Large).
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Hat: circumference is 19 (21, 23) inches/ 48.5 (53.5, 58.5) cm; Mitts: palm circumference is 6.75 (7.5) inches/17.1 (19.1) cm.
YARN: Malabrigo Yarn Merino Worsted (100% merino; 210yds/192m per 100g skein); color Lettuce; 2 skeins for both hat and mitts.
NEEDLES: US #7 [4.5mm] circular needle (or size required to achieve correct gauge), 16 or 20 inches long & set of four or five US #7 [4.5mm] double-pointed needles.
NOTIONS: Stitch marker, yarn needle.
GAUGE: 18 sts/30 rows = 4 inches/10cm in stockinette stitch.
SKILLS NEEDED: Working in the round, slipping stitches, basic decreases.
