Women’s hat worked in a slipped stitch colorwork plaid pattern. Only one color is used for each round, so the hat is much easier than it looks!
SIZES: One size, to fit average woman
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: 19½” brim circumference; will stretch to accommodate up to 23″ circumference
YARN: Universal Yarn Deluxe Worsted: #31953 neutral gray (MC), 1 skein; #1900 ebony (black, CC1), 1 skein; #12144 starfish (pink, CC2), 1 skein
NEEDLES: Size 8 (5 mm): 16″ or 20″ circular needle and set of double-pointed needles; Size 7 (4.5 mm): 16″ or 20″ circular needle
NOTIONS: Stitch markers, yarn needle, plate or balloon for blocking
GAUGE: 19 stitches and 42 rows = 4 inches in Plaid pattern
