This baby blanket uses a modern cable and lace pattern to create a big effect! The reverse side is different, but just as attractive as the front.
Please note: pattern requires two cable needles and includes both knitting and purling through the back loops.
Pattern includes both written-out instructions and charts.
SIZES: Small (Medium, Large)
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: 22 x 22 (30 x 30, 38 x 38) inches, or 56 x 56 (76 x 76, 97 x 97) cm
YARN: Knit Picks Simply Cotton Worsted (100% cotton; 164 yds/150 m per 100g skein); color Duchess Heather; 3 (5, 7) skeins.
NEEDLES: US #8 [5.0 mm] circular needle, 24 inches or longer
NOTIONS: 2 cable needles, yarn needle.
GAUGE: 19 sts/21 rows = 4 inches/10 cm in Lozenge Stitch, stretched widthwise; 18 sts/22 rows = 4 inches/10 cm in stockinette stitch.
SKILLS NEEDED: Cabling, basic decreasing, making yarn-overs, knitting/purling through the back loops.
