YARN: Manos del Uruguay Silk Blend (70% merino, 30% silk; 150yds/137m per 50g skein); color 300M, Bing Cherry; 2 skeins
Please note: although this yarn is listed as DK weight, it is actually closer to a sport weight. If substituting, you will need about 200 yds 183m of light DK/sport weight yarn.
NEEDLES: Set of four US #4 [3.5 mm] & set of four US #5 [3.75 mm] double-pointed needles.
NOTIONS: Stitch markers (1 of type/color A, 2 of type/color B); yarn needle; waste yarn; cable needle
GAUGE: 24 stitches and 38 rows = 4 inches/10cm in stockinette stitch. Row gauge is important for this pattern; make sure to check your gauge carefully and adjust needle sizes if required.
SKILLS NEEDED: Working in the round, ability to work basic cables, decreasing (including purling 2 together through the back loops).
