Rosanna Wrap is a classy addition to any wardrobe!
The wrap is worked from end to end in a fairly simple lace pattern (suitable for an advanced beginner or intermediate-level knitter) and then may be finished with knotted fringe, if desired.
The reverse side of the wrap is different, but also attractive (see picture below).
Pattern includes written instructions and chart, as well as a photo tutorial for making the optional knotted fringe.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: 75 in (191 cm) long, 13 in (33 cm) wide
YARN: madelinetosh tosh merino light (100% merino; 420 yds/384 m per 100g skein); color Tart; 2 skeins. To make the wrap the size indicated, you will need about 700 yds (640 m) of fingering-weight yarn without fringe, and about 750 yds (686 m) with fringe.
NEEDLES: US #6 [4.0 mm] straight needles (or circular if preferred—piece is worked back and forth in rows)
NOTIONS: Yarn needle; piece of cardboard and crochet hook if making fringe
GAUGE: 23 sts/26 rows = 4 inches/10 cm in Zigzag Lace Stitch after blocking
SKILLS NEEDED: Basic lace skills–yarn overs, decreases, knitting and purling through the back loops. Photo tutorial for making knotted fringe is included in the pattern.
